Of Avalon, formerly of the North Side. Passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024. Born December 12, 1940, in Pgh., PA. Son of the late Vincent and Margaret Mazza. Loving father of Rebecca L. Csaszar (Robert), David V. Mazza (Lisa), and Leslie M. Mazza. Beloved brother of John C. Mazza. Proud grandfather of Daniel Csaszar (Melanie), Abigail Csaszar, Alexandra Csaszar, Dominic Mazza, Anthony Mazza, Gianna Mazza, and Grayson Mazza. Vince was an Operating Engineer with Local #95 and worked at the University of Pittsburgh for over 40 years. Friends received Thursday 2-8 p.m. at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 806 Perry Hwy., North Hills. Mass of Christian Burial in Christ Our Savior Parish, St. Peter Church Friday 10 a.m.

I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Mazza and sorry we were not able to pay our respects in person. I think he was a 2nd Dad to all of Northside. There was always a house full of kids at the house. He was wonderful. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
