Victoria Frances “Fran” Stern, 93, of Patterson Township, Beaver Falls, PA, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love, faith, and strength.

Fran was the beloved wife of Rudy Stern, with whom she shared 64 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a truly blessed life filled with devotion, family, and deep love.

She was a loving mother to Richard (Lolly) Sweigart, James Stern, and Rebecca (Richard) Miller. Fran was a proud and adoring grandmother to Shawna (Travis) Fox, Shannon (Trevor) Ertman, Matthew Miller, and Leslie (John) Grijalba, and a cherished great-grandmother to Emily Fox and Sienna Ertman. She also held a very special place in her heart for Bruno, a beloved family dog, who brought her immense joy.

Fran was the daughter of the late Thomas A. and Anna Meeker. She was preceded in death by her brother Thomas Meeker, her sister Betty Kifer, and her son James Stern.

She is also survived by her sister Gloria Vass, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Fran was deeply loved by all who knew her. Her kindness, compassion, and unwavering love for her family were evident in everything she did. She delighted in hosting family dinners and holidays, making each gathering special with her delicious cooking and exquisite baking. An amazing mother and grandmother, Fran always made time to sit, talk, laugh, and truly connect with those she loved. Her family was the center of her life.

Fran expressed gratitude for her long life, and her love of God shone through the way she lived—devoted to Him and to others, with quiet faith and grace.

She will be greatly missed, but her legacy of love will live on through the memories, traditions, and values she passed down to her family.

A private service to celebrate Fran’s life will be held on January 16.
