Age 60, of Adams Twp., passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 4, 2016. Beloved husband for thirty six amazing years of Maureen (Menzel); The proudest dad of Jessica, Shawn (Josy), and Craig; Treasured pap-pap of Bryce, Mason and Austin; Loving brother of Robert A. Glancy (Mary Ann), James G. Glancy (Linda), Thomas J. Glancy, the late Patricia A. Conroy (survived by husband Michael) and the late Michael J. Glancy; Son of the late Robert and Laura (Hurrie); Also survived by countless relatives and friends from all over the country.
A Blessing Service will be held at St. Kilian Church (small chapel) in Mars (205 Clark St., Mars 16046) on Friday November 11th at 11am with reception to follow at Treesdale Country Club. It was always his wishes to not have a funeral. Tim wanted his life to be celebrated and all are welcome to share in that celebration.
Tim spent his whole life in the construction industry. He and his brother led their company in hundreds of construction projects over the past 40+ years. He truly loved going to work every day.
Tim’s greatest joy came from spending time with his family. He unconditionally adored his children and grandchildren. They were the light of his life. Anyone who knew Tim, knew the pride he had for his family.
In his later years, Tim found joy and relaxation in spending time on the golf course. Golf was a way for him to, not only spend time with some of his closest buddies, but also his best friend, his wife. No matter if Tim and Maureen were at their home in Mars or at their home in Naples, Florida, they always were surrounded by trusted friends.
Tim would ask all of his friends and family not to mourn his death, but rather he would want you to toast to his life, do something special for someone, pay it forward, and remember to always live every day as if it were your last.
In lieu of flowers, the Glancy family would appreciate that donations be made to Autism Speaks of Butler County, The ARC of Butler County

My condolences to the Glancy family on your loss. I worked with Tim for many years on construction projects at the Air Force Reserve installation in Moon Twp, Pa. He was always fair and a professional in negotiating our contracts, and he spoke graciously of his family and friends each and every time we met. Rest in Peace Tim!

We are so sorry for your loss. We had many years working for Tim and he will be greatly missed. We will be out of town on Friday, so we will be unable to make the memorial service. Our prayer is that the Lord comforts all of you through this difficult time. We will be making a donation to the Autism Speaks in his honor.

We were shocked and saddened beyond belief to hear of Tim’s passing. He was undoubtedly one of the nicest people we have ever met. Maureen, you and your family are constantly in our thoughts and prayers.

Eighteen years ago we met a great man on a small island in the Caribbean. Who knew that pool volleyball, outdoor chess and a seat at the bar would blossom into a fantastic friendship. Tim always had a smile, a joke, and not a care in the world. He was interested in what was happening with you. Whether we visited him in PA or FL, he always made it seem like it was home. Tim’s smile and good laugh will forever be missed. Our hearts, thoughts, and prayers go out to Maureen, Jessica, Shawn, Craig & the grandkids. Tim loved and cherished you wholeheartedly. Dear Maureen and family, While it is impossible not to mourn the loss of such an amazing person, we are thankful for the years of friendship that we had with Tim and will continue to have with you Maureen. So sorry for your loss. We always thought of you as a friend. Our first memory of spending time with you guys was tournament ball. It was a great summer and fun time at the ballfield. Tim let Kevin pitch in a baseball game and was the best time for him. Always enjoyed running into you at Panera and talking. Maureen and Family, It was such a shock to find out about Tim on Saturday. My heart goes out to you and your children. Tim and I have known each other since first grade at St. Teresa School and thru high school at North Hills. Tom, Rob and I always had a good time with Tim, especially our last night out with you and Tim back in July. I look back at all the weekend nights we spent our at your house on the edge of North Park. Shooting hoops, playing football or just sitting around talking with both of you. I would have done anything to be at his service on Friday, but we will be on vacation starting that morning. I am extremely saddened to loosing a very good friend and I pray that Tim is going to be watching over you and your family. My wife and I extend our sympathy to you and your family as you try to cope with this tragic event. I will give you ac all when we get back after November 20. Timmy was the very best brother in law I could have asked for! He made sure Maureen and the kids never wanted for anything, especially love! Not only did he LOVE his own family deeply, his love extended to the rest of us that he inherited by marriage!! Always the first with a hand UP for anyone! His laughter, love and generosity will be greatly missed by everyone who ever had the pleasure to meet him. Rest in peace Timmy! Love you and miss you!

Uncle Tim, you and Aunt Maureen did so much for my Mom, Brother and I when we were just little kids. You made sure we had everything we needed when things got tough for us. To help us out like you did means the world to us. Only later in Life did my brother and I find out about this. You were always so generous and kind. A true Irishman in all aspects and we love that about you. We love you and we miss you… greatly greatly miss you.
