In lieu of flowers contributions to the ALS Association, Western PA /WV Chapter, Landmark Bldg., Suite 550, 100 West Station Square Dr., Pittsburgh, PA 15219. Thomas was a Vice President, Merchandise Manager of the May Company for 31 years, 28 years for Kaufmann’s in Pittsburgh and 3 years for Filene’s in Boston.

Words cannot express my deepest felt sympathy for you and yours. I know that words will not ease the pain you are suffering, and I hope to be able to visit with you to give you a hug. I will try to wear a smile for you, but please understand if I am weak. You have gone through a lot, and the taking of a loved one is never fair. I just hope that you can rise in the morning, and know that Tom is smiling down on you from above.
