Age 90, of Spring Hill, passed away surrounded by his family on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. Beloved husband for 69 years of Elizabeth (Eyerman), Loving father of Thomas Jr. (Karen), Gregory (Patricia), Mary Beth, Jack (Linda), Kathryn Tomkowski (Thomas); Proud Pap of Thomas III (Shawna), Benjamin (Meredith), John, Jr. (Emily), Jarrod (Rayanda), Jacob, Sarah, Rebecca Joos, Lucy, Abby, Gabe Tomkowski and the late Jennifer Davis (survived by Jesse); Cherished Great-Grandpap of Delaney, Giuliana, Olivia, Clara, and Alee; Brother of the late Bernard G. Joos and the late John “Jack” P. Joos (Mary Jane Goggin); Tom was the son of the late George and Sarah (Grieser) Joos; He is also survived by many loving relatives and friends, including 10 godchildren.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-8PM at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 806 Perry Hwy., Ross Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday 10:30AM in St. Boniface Church, 2208 East St., Pgh, PA 15212.
Tom was a devoted Catholic and family man. He was a longtime truck driver and proud member of Teamsters Local 249. After retirement, Tom enjoyed spending time with his family, especially at the family cottage in Slippery Rock. Tom had a special passion for his cars and motorcycles. Everyone will miss his endearing whistling.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest Seraphic Masses be offered through St. Augustine Friary, 221 36th St., Pgh, PA 15201.

I’m very sorry to hear about Mr. Joos. Such a nice man always with a wonderful, warm smile. My deepest sympathies to the entire Joos family. So many great memories as neighbors and growing up on Haslage. May you find peace and comfort during this difficult time in the many memories you have and cherish.
