Thomas A. Osterbloom Jr., 70, of Ross, died Friday, Oct. 26, 2007, after a short illness. Tom worked for LTV Steel for 36 years until taking early retirement in 1996. In 1999, he received a heart transplant, which was very successful. In retirement, he was an active volunteer at Allegheny General Hospital. Beloved husband of 45 years of Alice (Bochter) Osterbloom. Loving father of Thomas A. III and Dina Kresak (Glenn). Dear grandfather of Dylan and Ava Kresak. Also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends. Predeceased by four brothers, two sisters and his beloved bloodhound, Elvis. Visitation from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, Ross, where a blessing service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Leukemia Society.
