Thomas A. Long, age 85, of Ingomar, passed away peacefully among family the night of Saturday, August 31, 2019. He was the beloved husband of the late Kathryn Long (Erb) for 63 years, treasured father of Susan Dudak (Frederick (Fred)), Patricia Webster (Donald), Thomas A. Long II, and Timothy A. Long, dearest grandfather of Aryn, Tara, and Stephen Long, Donna, Don Jr.,and Lynda Webster, great-grandfather of Amanda and Sarah Webster, Allison and Nicholas Bruni. Tom was the last surviving brother of Patty, Edward, Raymond, Nathan, James, and Theodore.

If we’re referring to “Pouchy” from Propect in Johnstown, let me strongly express my respect and love for him. Unselfish in his friendships he was a delight to see as he encouraged everyone to enjoy the days we all spent together. Proud and licky to have known him and his delightful family. Rest in sweet and calm peace dear Pouchy. God called you because he needed you there.

To the best dad in the world, I want to say how happy I was that the last words we said to each other were how much we loved each other. You were the best “daddy” a girl could have. You gave your life to your family, everything you had, and asked for nothing in return. Best dad, best husband, best grandfather and best friend a person could have.
