Theodore Bradley Dotter, age 76 of Cranberry Twp., went home to be with his Savior, The Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday January 1, 2019. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Carole (Smith). He was the loving father and grandfather of three children and five grandchildren: Jennifer Craft and her husband Bill and their three children, T.J. (Theodore James), Morgan and David; Tracy Godfrey and her husband Jeff and their two children Joshua and Jackson; Eric and his life partner Joan Wein. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Violet (Weber) Dotter, a sister, Donna (Dotter) Lenhart and an infant sister, Joan Ann Dotter.
Ted was a 1959 graduate of Weatherly High School, a Veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and a graduate of The University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering. Following a 20 year career with Westinghouse he fulfilled a dream of having a business of his own which gave him the opportunity to incorporate his love for writing and use his gift for creativity combined with his technical background in Electrical Engineering. Image Services, Inc. was birthed in 1989 and remained in operation through 2016. He was a very active and faithful member of Victory Family Church since 1999 and dedicated over 10 years of service to the Victory Group, one of many wonderful areas of ministry at Victory Family Church.
Friends will be received on Sunday, January 13 at 1 PM until the time of the Service at 4 PM with Pastor John Nuzzo officiating at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME of CRANBERRY, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Twp. (724) 772-8800.
A private Internment will take place with full military honors at The National Cemetery of The Alleghenies on Monday, January 14, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.
Memorial contributions in Ted’s memory may be made to “ Victory Group”. Please make checks payable to Victory Family Church, with a notation in the memo “ For Victory Group in memory of Ted Dotter”. “Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” ~ 1 Corinthians 15: 57 ESV
