Age 91, of Cranberry Twp., formerly of Export, on Friday, June 6, 2014. She was born July 4, 1922, in Export, daughter of the late John and Stella (Kosinsky) Nider. She worked at Westinghouse Electric, East Pittsburgh, and did wiring on the first nuclear submarine, the USS Nautilus. She was a member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Export. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Miller “Mops” Visnick and brothers, Joseph and Michael Nider. Surviving are her sons, John and James; daughter-in-law, Carole Sudar; brother, John Nider; and sister-in-law, Ann Visnick; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, friends and other relatives. Friends will be received Monday 5-8 p.m. at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME OF CRANBERRY, 2678 Rochester Road, (724) 772-8800. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Killian’s Church, 205 Clark St., Mars, PA at 10 a.m. on Tuesday. The family of Teresa would like to express its thanks to the staff and nurses at Paramount Senior Living and Paramount Hospice for the excellent care of her over the past eight years.
