age 32 of Observatory hill died at her residence on Wed. 1-19-05. She was born in Pgh on 8-7-72 daughter of Thomas J. And Karen Gripner Bloom of Observatory Hill. She was a pharmacy technician at Allegheny General Hospital. And a member of Northgate Church, Ross Twp.
In addition to her parents she is the cousin/sister of Jim and Sandra LaQuatra. Also survived by Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
Visitation Fri. 1-9 PM at Devlin Funeral Home, 806 Perry Hwy. Ross Twp. Services in Northgate Church, 238 West View Ave. Pgh, Pa. 15229 Sat. At 11:00 AM. In lieu of Flowers contributions may be made to Northgate Church Fellowship in Tami’s Honor.
It’s been some time since I’ve talked to Tami. I always knew that one day our paths would again cross and we would forget the bad times and pick up where we left off. The saying “It’s never to late…” is incorrect. This time it is too late.
Tami, I’ve been missing you since before you went to heaven. The odd thing is that just a few months ago, I was looking through some old pictures and I came upon the one of you and I at Hershey Park (you know the one next to the Big Hershey Bar). I was showing it to my daughter saying “Look, this is Tami, my best friend.” Although I haven’t talked to you in a few years, I still feel that way. I have never called anyone else my best friend. I’m not sure my daughter really understood but I told her “you will meet her one day”. She may never meet you here on earth but she will definitely know about you. It is now that you know how deeply sorry I am and how much I’ve missed you. My best memories in life are of our friendship – we use to laugh so hard together that our tummies would hurt and our eyes would water.
Life takes us in different directions. I’m not sure why we went different ways but you will always be an important part of my life.
