Age 55 of Cranberry Twp, died on Wed, 6-2-2004 at UPMC Passavant- Cranberry Hospital. Born in Pgh, Pa, on 9-8-1948, son of the late Stefan and Anna (Marflak) Stavar. Stephen was in marketing for IBM Company and a member of St. Ferdinand Church.
Beloved husband of Christine (Steffen) Stavar, Father of Stephen M. And Rebecca K. Stavar, and Waldo, all of Cranberry Twp. Brother of Marie Edberg of Stevens Point, Wisconsin, Eleanor Stavar and Diana Ruscin, both of Duquesne.
Visitation Saturday and Sunday 2-4 &7-9 PM at the Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Twp. (724)772-8800. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Ferdinand Church, Monday 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, Contributions may be made to St. Ferdinand Church.
