Age 87, of McCandless, on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Vincentian Home. Mrs. Sherick was born on April 8, 1929 in Titusville, PA. Daughter of the late John and Florence (Billstone) Crone; beloved wife of the late Harry W. Sherick Jr., whom she married on August 29, 1953; loving mother of Harry W. (Rosanna) III, John T., Tami S. Pierson, and Trudi A. (Joseph) Mariani; proud grandmother of Michael (Meghan) and Sara. Shirley is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her sisters, Helen and Louise; and brother, Bill. Family and friends received on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Hwy., Pittsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Sebastian Parish. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Shirley’s name to the Titusville High School Scholarship fund, c/o Titusville Alumni Association, 302 E. Walnut St., Titusville, PA., 16354. Shirley’s family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Vincentian Home for the compassionate care of their mother.
