Sweet Sally.. I grew up with her as a pre schooler in Sunday school, then Brownies and Girl Scouts and high school when Rich took up all her time.. In Love! We went to camp as kids and walked to Walls Market for popsicles in the summer. It was an easy walk to her house and always a fun time. Sally had a loving spirit and I will always remember her friendship.. R.I.P. sweet friend.

I grew up on Ambard Avenue — and knew your mom as ‘Sally’. She was such a pretty lady – as I recall her perfectly. Thought of your family recently – as we cleared out my cousin Judith’s home (who also passed) right across the street from your Ambard Avenue home. Will never forget your ‘upstairs’ home. My condolences to your families, Arlene and Karen. Barb Poerschke Hoellerman (siblings Nancy and Paul)

I’ll never forget Aunt Sally visiting our house on Simmons Road. When we were sitting by the pool, I mentioned how I had asked Cindy to marry me after our second date. I looked over and she was crying; she was so tender-hearted. I know that Aunt Sally knew Christ as her Savior and now she’s in a place without pain or sickness. We’ll see her again someday soon!

Sally, You have been a lifelong inspiration to me. I will miss you, but you will always live on in my heart and mind.
