Age 88, of the North Side, on Wednesday, August 27, 2014. Husband of the late Theresa Marie (Costello) Bova; father of Theresa “Pinky” Eileen Bova and Michael J. Bova (Joan); brother of Frances Lewondowski; grandfather of Brittany, Megan, and Phillip. Sam served in the Merchant Marines and Air Force in WWII and retired from Bell Telephone after 35 years of work. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at McKnight United Methodist Church, 600 Fox Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15237. Arrangements by T.B.
