Age 98, formerly of Cranberry Township, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 10, 2017. Beloved wife of the late James F. McHugh; mother of Dr. Gary McHugh (Karen), Larry F. McHugh (Linda), Mary Jo Bullington (Dr. Bert), and Maureen R. McHugh; grandmother of Maura Starshak (Bill), Brad Bullington (Meg), Kari Zavolta (Paul), Ryan McHugh (Kate), Kelly Peat (Simon), Danny and Maggie Sharp, Steve Bullington (Julie), Rob Bullington (Sushma), Carl Cincotta (Lisa), Lisa Limonciello (Tom), Jessica Prucnal (Milena), and Megan Prucnal; proud “Gigi” to 15 loving great-grandchildren in Pittsburgh, Chicago, Boston, and New York City. Ruth was a devout Catholic whom relied heavily on her faith and was dedicated to her family. She was an active member of St. Ferdinand Parish until her move to Concordia of Cabot. She enjoyed travel, making photo albums, and spending time with her family and friends. Friends and family will be received Monday, March 13, 2017 from 2-7PM at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME of CRANBERRY, 2678 Rochester Rd., (724) 772-8800. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 10AM in St. Kilian Church, 7076 Franklin Rd., Cranberry Twp. 16066. Everyone please meet at church.
