Of Cranberry Township, PA, passed away on May 2, 2021. Born January 8, 1938, in Meadville, PA. Daughter of the late David (Ted) and Margaret (Peg) Jenkins; loving mother of her children, Jeffrey Stirling (Cynthia), Laura Stoof (James) and Douglas Stirling (Cara); sister of Marjorie Podolsky (Joseph); and she was proud grandmother of Nicholas Stirling, Michael Stirling, Leah Stoof, Andrew Stoof, Hannah Stoof, Alexa Stirling and William Stirling. She is also survived by many friends and relatives as well as her faithful cat Frankie. Ruth devoted her life to her family and working in the community. She worked for Allegheny County, KDKA Call for Action and was also a proud volunteer for the Republican National Committee for several years and later volunteered at the Treasure House Fashions, a charitable organization in Ross Township, as well as the Make-A-Wish Foundation. She was very passionate about her volunteer work, and she also had a love for reading and traveling. There will be a private service for family only.
