Russell J. Weber, 87, of Cranberry, formerly of Morningside, Garfield and Ben Avon, died Thursday, June 12, 2008. Husband of Shirley Ann (Barnes) Weber. Father of Russell P. (Lauren) Weber, of Cranberry, and Duane (Sue) Weber, of Waterford. Grandfather of Jared and Nathan. Brother of Hildegarde Mohnach and the late Fredolin J. Weber. Son of the late Fredolin and Hildegarde Weber. Russell was a past commander and life member of VFW Post 3945, a life member of Veterans of the Battle of the Bulge, retired from American Bridge, a World War II veteran who served in the 7th Armored Division and a member of St. Ferdinand Church and the Cranberry Elks. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME OF CRANBERRY, 2678 Rochester Road, 724-772-8800, where a blessing service will be at 11 a.m. Monday.
