Roy D. Hurd, 61, of Cranberry, died Friday, July 18, 2008. Roy was a Cranberry Township supervisor, honorably discharged from the Navy, past president of VOICE violence and abuse shelter, a past member of the Cranberry Rotary and the owner of a computer company and Renaissance Day Spa for 40 years. Treasured husband of Charlotte (Bartolotta) Hurd. Cherished father of Lisa Foster (Richard) and loving daughter Debra Gugliuzza. Beloved grandfather of Richard Francis, Alyssa Grace and Dominic Joseph Foster. Son of the late Margaret and Kenneth Hurd. Brother of Thomas Hurd (Rose). Loving brother-in-law of Charles and Josephine Palmeri. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Dear friend of John Kaminski and Larry Steeb. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME OF CRANBERRY, 2678 Rochester Road, 724-772-8800, where services will be at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.
