Ronald W. Deemer
Age 73, of Cranberry Twp., passed away after a short illness on Jan. 23, 2019. Ron was born on April 28, 1945, son of the late Vernard Avery, and Doris Viola Deemer. He is survived by his beloved wife, Cindy L. (Crider) Deemer, to whom he was married for 36 years; daughter Ashleigh Deemer and son-in-law Chris Miller; grandson Axel Miller; sister Donna (Jim) Brown, and brother Jeff (Debbie) Deemer; nieces and nephews, Jimmy Brown, Jeffrey Deemer, Destiney Deemer, and Clinton Deemer. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, as well as his niece Susan Cravener (Brown).
Ron served in the U.S. Army 1968-1972, and went on to travel the country as a truck driver for 16 years, later retiring from the Cranberry Township Department of Public Works after 26 years of service. He enjoyed travel and camping with his family, gardening, and playing with his grandson. He will be lovingly remembered and sorely missed.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 3-7 pm at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Twp. Funeral Services will be held Monday at 11 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Pinewood Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ron’s name to the American Lung Association in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
