Age 88, of Ross Twp., peacefully on Saturday, May 16, 2015. Loving husband of the late Nancy (Lyons) Strickland; Devoted father of Thomas Strickland (Kathryn) of Bethel Park, Linda Miller (William) of Hampton, and Mark Strickland of North Side; Proud grandfather of William Miller (Elaine), Daniel Miller, Kevin Strickland, and Sarah Strickland; great-grandfather of Jacob Miller; Brother of Patricia Morgan (Charles) and the late John Strickland (Ruth); also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and his loving dog Teddy. Bob served his country in the US Army during the Korean War and enjoyed a long career at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. The family would like to send a special thanks to the UPMC Cancer Center and Good Samaritan Hospice for their compassion and care. Friends received Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9PM at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 PERRY Hwy., where services will be held on Wednesday at 11am.
