Robert Whittington

March 13, 1929 - April 14, 2004

age 75 of Cranberry Twp. Died on Wed. April 14, 2004 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born in Monongahela, Pa. On 3- 13-29 son of the late Frank and Zella Ann Newmeyer Whittington. He was President of Perry Homes, Member of Wildwood Golf Club, WWII Army Veteran, Founder of Cranberry Community Chest, Former President of Cranberry Rotary, and he donated and built the first shelter in Cranberry Park.
Survived by his wife, Dolores Stinebaugh Whittington, a daughter, Terrie Lynne Craig and her husband, Jeffrey of Cranberry and a son, Bob Whittington and his wife, Allyson of Cranberry. Grandfather of Samantha and Matthew Craig and Sarah Whittington.
Visitation Thurs. 7-9 and Fri. 2-4, 7-9 at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry, 2678 Rochester Rd. Cranberry Twp. where services will be held Sat. At 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Allegheny Co. Memorial Park.
