Not long after I met Tom Henson 25 years ago, he said to me on more than one occasion “you really remind him of my dad”
. I eventually got to meet Bob and had many occasions to socialize with him, and all I can say, is after they made Bob, they broke the mold.
He told the corniest, lamest jokes on the planet, but he somehow made them funny. I’ve always been inspired by his love of life and I will continue to channel my inner Bob with a glass half full attitude.
He leaves a big void on this earth, but he’s generating chuckles and warm hearts in heaven.
So sorry for your loss. Love and prayers are sent your way. He fought a good fight and now our Lord has said “Good job good and faithful servant. Come rest with me.”
So sorry to hear about Bob’s passing. He was a wonderful gentleman, true Friend and loved by all who met him. Many memorable trips, shows, conversations and meetings through the years with Bob in the industry.
Thoughts and Prayers for Bob’s Family. God Bless.
Theresa, Tom, John and family,
I am greatly saddened to hear of Bob’s passing. I can’t even begin to count the many trips we took together and time spent “on the road” with each other. They are some of my fondest memories through my 45 years in aviation. Bob was a boy, mentor, colleague but most of all friend!
I will miss his infectious smile, story telling and the many jokes he told. He was a master and we all wanted to be in his company whenever possible.
Godspeed Bob. Fly high my friend!
