Robert James Fahringer, 65, of Seven Fields, formerly of Churchill, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 29, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Jane (Norton) for 28 years; loving father of Sean and Tim; proud grandfather of Damon, Devin, Mathew and Mark; and was also survived by many loving friends and relatives and his beloved greyhounds Ginger, Bentley and Max. Bob was a member of the U.S. Marine Corps and served his community as a firefighter with the Churchill Fire Department, achieving the rank of Lieutenant. He had many passions, including carpentry, Stephen Ministry at Hope Lutheran Church, and caring for his greyhounds and his many other pets over the years. Bob will be remembered for his sense of humor, especially his sharp wit. Friends will be received on Wednesday, August 6, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until time of service at 8 p.m. at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME of CRANBERRY, 2678 Rochester Rd., (724) 772-8800.
