Age 90, of Ross Twp., on Wednesday, January 29, 2014. Husband of the late Margaret; Loving father of John R. Foerstner and the late Deborah Wiswell. Also survived by loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his brother, Richard Foerstner. Robert served his country in the US Army during World Ward 2, earning 4 bronze stars. After being honorably discharged, he began his career at US Steel, retiring after 35 years. Services will be private. Arrangements by T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME.

I will greatly miss my grandfathers witty banter. Along with the light hearted laughs we shared over many lunches at Rico’s. Whether discussing the drop in nonferrous metal prices overseas or the sudden uprooting of a Cavaliers Player I shall not mention… He was always on point and probably the best teacher a kid could ask for. It gives me great peace knowing he is now reunited with his best friend and with whom he called the classiest woman around; grandma Margie. Not one visit went by that he did not tell me how much he missed her. I have been greatly blessed to have had the opportunity to grow and know grandfather as an adult and will treasure those memories. Rest in peace, we love you ~ Tanya
