Robert Connolly
July 28, 1930 - April 20, 2006
Age 75 of Brighton Heights, died on 4-20-2006 in his residence. He was born in Pgh on 7-28-1930 son of the late Michael Daniel and Elizabeth (King) Connolly. Robert was a retired City of Pittsburgh Police Sergeant.
Beloved husband of 54 years to Jeanne (Arch) Connolly. Loving father of Robert Emmet Jr., James (Susie), Michael (Cindy), Jeanne Baroni, Patricia (Jim) Bull, Julianne (Jerry) Petricini, Judith (Joe) Murrer, Joseph (Paula), Daniel (Linda) all of Pittsburgh, and Eileen (Dave) Powell, of Cincinnati, OH. Brother of Dan (Millie) Connolly of Florida and Mary (Steve) Stevens of North Carolina. Brother-in-law to members of the Arch family. Also survived by 29 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation Sat & Sun 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Devlin Funeral Home, 806 Perry Highway, Ross Twp. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Cyril of Alexandria Church, Mon 11 AM. Interment will follow in North Side Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Harmarville Rehabilitation Hospital

Uncle Emmet was such a kind and loving man whom I admire and thank for treating me and my family with such goodness. I will miss his “What did she say?” and Aunt Jeanne yelling back to him!
