Rita “Jean” (Wilt) Kovach

Of Ross Twp., on Thursday, April 1, 2021. Born May 26, 1929, in Pittsburgh, PA. Daughter of the late Raymond and Marcella Wilt; loving mother of Jeanne Higman (Richard), Janine K. Skirtich (Paul); beloved sister of Marcella “Sis” Rieck (the late Charles), Raymond “Sonny” Wilt, Jr. (the late Essie), Marjorie “Margie” Michalowsky, and Roy Wilt (Sunny); proud grandmother of Kate Smyser (Andy), Susan Schmitt (Mike), Annie, Emily, and Julia Skirtich; great-grandmother of Imogen, Nathaniel,  Allison, and Ryan; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Jean enjoyed spending time with her family, in the garden and having her home filled with flowers. No Visitation. Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish, St. Teresa of Avila Church Monday at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Holy Cross Academy.
