Of Ross Township, passed away on Friday,  May 24, 2024, born February 21,1938 in Pittsburgh, Pa. Son of the late Walter and Alberta Fischer. Beloved Husband of 68 years Maryann B. (Lisko) Fischer. Loving father Eric R. Fischer (Victoria) and Todd A. Fischer (Lynn). Beloved brother of Wayne Fischer (Skydrida) and Donna Jean Jaecke. Proud grandfather of Madisen. He was also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather, a true family man. He met Maryann, the love of his life, when they were just 16 and they married at age 18. Richard never met a stranger. He loved music and to dance and was always the life of the party. He worked in restaurant management most of his life and in his later years was a waiter at Monte Cello’s. Then, in his “retirement”, he worked in their warehouse. Richard was an amazing cook and his Sunday dinners were always the best, second to none. Anyone who knew Richard loved him and he will be deeply missed by us all. Friends received Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 806 Perry Hwy., North Hills. Mass of Christian Burial in Christ Our Savior Parish, Boniface Church, Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.

When we are away from the body, we are with our Lord. However, that is hard for those left behind to bear. May God give you the strength you need at this time. And memories to last a lifetime.
