Age 98, of McCandless Township, passed away on Friday October 18 2024. Born March 2, 1926 in Pittsburgh, PA. Son of the late William and Margaret Glassbrenner. Beloved husband of 70 years to the late Rosemarie (Hadyduk) Glassbrenner. Loving father of Rick Glassbrenner (Pat), Nancy Ponist (Mark), and the late Janet Schreve (surviving spouse, Gary). Beloved brother of Margaret Rose Glassbrenner. Proud grandpap of Jeff, Jodie, Jamie, Luke, Bethany, and Leslie. Also survived by eight great-grandchildren. Rich was a WWII veteran, enlisting in Marine Corps “China Marines” at the age of 17. He worked at Braun Banking company for 40 years and Kuhns Market for another 20 years. He enjoyed arranging and participating in golf outings and later developed a love for flying radio controlled planes.
Friends received Tuesday, 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Devlin Funeral Home, Inc. 806 Perry Hwy, North Hills. Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish, St. Teresa of Avila Church, Tuesday at 9:30 a.m.

Rich was a great neighbor. I enjoyed talking to him over the fence. We will really miss him.
