Richard T. “Dick” Pavelick, 79, of Gibsonia, died Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2011. He was the beloved husband for 55 years of Elizabeth I. (Patton) Pavelick; loving father of Dana Pierson, Sherri Eury, Richard G. Pavelick and Jill Pavelick; grandfather of Preston (Ashley) and Shannon Pierson, Brooke Bowen, Logan and Brady Eury, and Christopher Pavelick; great-grandfather of Lennon James Bowen; also survived by nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Mary Nazak Pavelick; and sisters, Dorothy Himber and Mildred Mastrean. Dick served in the Air Force and had a 42-year career with Sears Roebuck and Company. He was a longtime member of St. Teresa of Avila Church and worked the bingo for 50 years. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, North Hills. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. Monday in St. Teresa of Avila Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia, 134 Marwood Road, Cabot, PA 16023.
