Renee Sandra (Scola) Previty
August 03, 1973 - March 22, 2026
Visitation: Thursday, March 26, 2026, 4-8 pm; Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry Township
Renee Sandra (Scola) Previty, age 52, of Cranberry Twp, passed away gracefully and peacefully surrounded by her family and dear friends on Sunday, March 22, 2026. Born in New Jersey, Renee spent her formative years crafting a life filled with love and purpose.
To those who knew and loved her, she was Nay Nay, a true fighter whose strength never wavered, even to the very end. Renee will be remembered for her booming personality, passion, generosity and warmth. She loved to feel the sunshine on her face, music, dancing, laughing, and making people smile. You could take the girl out of Jersey, but you couldn’t take the Jersey out of the girl! With a calm confidence, she loved to help people without expecting anything in return. She made the world a better place.
Renee will be fondly remembered as the devoted daughter of Barbara LaVecchia, stepdaughter of Peter for 36 years, and the late Anthony Scola. She was a loving mother to her cherished children, Lexi and Michael, and a treasured sister to Larissa Gavlak. As an aunt she brought joy to the lives of Tanner (Anna Geary) and Sarah. She was blessed with numerous friends, many of whom who were like family. She is also survived by her ex-husband Jeremy, his siblings, nieces, nephews and relatives.
A devoted colleague, Renee, worked at SAE International as a Senior Manager for Marketing Operations.
In honor of her beautiful life, a visitation will be held on Thursday, March 26 from 4-8pm at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry Twp., 2678 Rochester Rd.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice, reflecting Renee’s kind spirit and commitment to helping others.
Renee’s legacy of love, compassion and dedication will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

Barb & Larissa, I’m still in shock and heartbroken for you. Even though we’ve not seen each other for years, your friendship was always so important to me. I’ll always remember Renee as the little firecracker I first met when she was a child. NJ has one less Jersey girl! Love you, my friend.
