My heartfelt condolences and prayers will remain with the entire Schmid family. Becky I still can not believe you are gone. My childhood best friend who brought so much joy to my life. We went to every Kennywood school picnic together, carnivals, sleepovers, laughing and talking on the phone all night long, spending so much time at each other’s houses, dances and HS proms together, HS reunions, visiting each other in college, and throughout our 20’s and 30’s. Sharing our hopes dreams and secrets with each other. I will always cherish the wonderful memories of being in each others weddings. The world lost a beautiful, smart and kind person. Your smile, fun personality and cheerful laughs were a blessing to everyone who knew you. I was privileged to know you and be your best friend. I’ll miss and love you forever.

Our family will greatly miss Rebecca’s presence. She was so full of love for Our Father, she loved to share his word. We learned so much from Rebecca including how to have the Heart of God. To Rebecca’s family our heart aches, we hope you will find peace knowing that Rebecca has touched so many, that she will live on for generations. Truly an amazing woman. Rebecca we love you so much.

    Billy, Lorraine, Valerie and Dino,
My heart is just broken over this tragic and shocking news. Becky was a beloved cousin in my heart, as I hold so many fond childhood memories over the years at “Nan’s” house, and of having the honor of her as a part of my bridal party. Becky’s innocence and beauty just shined right through that luminous smile and unforgettable giggle. Heaven has definitely gained one beautiful angel, and I will keep all of you in my prayers as I ask God to help carry you through this tremendous loss. My love and sympathies to all of your family.
