Patricia Ann “Patti” (McCleary) Synan, of West View, passed away peacefully Monday, Nov. 23, 2009. Patti was the owner and operator of Patti’s Styling Salon, Lincoln Avenue, Bellevue. She was a daughter of Dorothy McCleary and the late William McCleary. Patti was the loving wife of Terry Synan for 30 years. She was the mother of Peter, of Minnesota, and Tricia Grayson, of Pittsburgh; and the special stepmother of Kevin and Danny Synan. Patti is survived by sisters, Jill (Den) Patsilevas and Sue McCleary; her very dear friends, Edee Bauman and Jimmy Christe; and two grandchildren. Patti had been a professional hairstylist in various salons in the North Hills area for more than 20 years before opening her own salon in 1989. Patti loved cruises with the family and great dinners with old friends, and she especially loved “the Shop.”Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at the T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, North Hills, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Good Samaritan Hospice, 146 Neely School Road, Wexford, PA 15090.
