Norbert “Norb” Walter Geubtner, 98, passed away on November 1, 2025. Born in Pittsburgh on November 23, 1926. Husband of the late Rose Geubtner; Son of the late John and Ida Geubtner; father of David (Joanne) Geubtner, Debbie (the late Harvey R.) Furey, Karen (John) Hertzig, Michael (Linda) Geubtner; grandpa of Carrie (John) McNally, Brian (Vivica) Geubtner, John J. (Shannon) Hertzig, Paul (Nicole) Hertzig, Gavin (Marisa) Geubtner, Brent Geubtner, Ashlyn (Dan) Walter; great grandpa to 11, great great grandpa to 1.
Norb proudly served his country in the United States Army in World War II. His love of woodworking led to a life long career as a master carpenter. He also loved to hunt and fish. Norb was a kind and gentle man who was always helping others.
Friends and family received Tuesday November 4, 2025 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Devlin Funeral home, 806 Perry Hwy. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday November 5, 2025 at 10 AM at St. Sebastian Church, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish.

We are sorry to hear about Norb’s passing. He lived a wonderful long life and is now dancing in Heaven with Rose. Matt & I thank him for his military service to our nation. Our condolences & prayers are with your family.
So sorry to hear of Uncle Norb’s passing. He is with his brothers in heaven now most likely enjoying a good poker game.
