BRYAN NANCY M. (THOMPSON)
Age 80, formerly of the Northside and Wexford, on Monday, November 14, 2011. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Miles R. Bryan, Sr.; beloved mother of Miles R. (Ann) Bryan, Jr., and the late David W. Bryan; grandmother of Dean (Melissa) Bryan, Miles R. Bryan, III, David W. (Amanda) McKay, Amy (Tim) Kemmerer and Matthew McKay; great-grandmother of Aubrey Bryan and Alexis, Will and McKenzie McKay; also survived by loving family Brian and Barbara McKay. Nancy is remembered as a caring wife, mother and grandmother. She also is remembered for her fondness of animals, especially dogs. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, Ross Twp., where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Humane Society.

8Dear Myles, I was sorry to learn of the death of your wife. You were a loyal patron of mine for many years, buying copies of my Pittsburgh Proud sports books series. Our friend Alex Pociask who now resides in suburban Chicago asked me to pass along his condolences. I remember you telling me about playing in the same backfield as Dan Rooney at North Catholic. The Trojans could use a player like you today. You and Nancy have been together a long time and I am sure you will miss her dearly. Treasure the good memories. Take care and stay well.
