N. Michael “Bud” Markl, of McCandless, died Saturday, July 18, 2009. He was the husband of the late Nancy Jane Markl; loving father of Scott E. (Beth) Markl and Amy Markl; dear grandfather of Brian E. and Michael R. Mock; brother of Betty Derk, Ruth Kuhn and the late Joseph, Leroy and Regis Markl. Bud was a World War II Navy veteran, member of the Knights of Columbus, Our Lady of Olives Council, Cranberry Boggmeister Barbershop Chorus and a former member of St. Alexis Choir. Visitation from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, North Hills. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Alexis Church.
