Always dedicated to educational discipline and deeply religious, Mildred Hauck was the valedictorian of her senior class at Oliver High School. She graduated with a degree in Chemistry from Carnegie Tech University and went on to work for Fisher Scientific. After raising her children, Mildred earned her real estate license, worked for Northwood Realty, and also did tax returns for senior citizens for a brief period. As a long-standing member of the Christian Mothers of St. Teresa of Avila Church, Mildred was the chairperson for the Padre Pio Fund-Raising Project (Roses for Peace) which provided financial support to young men attending the seminary in Eastern Europe. The family would like to thank the following caregivers who profoundly loved Mildred and supported her spiritually as well as in daily living: Colleen, Debbie, Mary and Joan.

The family would also like to thank the wonderful staff at Sunrise of McCandless, especially Yvonne and Taylor. The kindness and compassion from the Sunrise employees were truly remarkable gifts. We all will deeply miss Mildred’s sense of humor and Irish wit.

I am truly sorry for the loss of such a kind soul, as I’m sure she would assure others absent from the body present with the Lord.

Thinking of all of the Eugene & Mildred Hauck family today as they place their Mother, grandmother to rest. Aunt Mil was always such a delightful LADY! She had a great sense of humor, a quick laugh and a lovely smile. It is with fond memories that we send her back to her Heavenly Father and hope to meet up with her again one day. We are regretful to be out of town for this celebration of her life. Hugs to all, Ginny & Doug
