Age 44, of Franklin Park, on Friday, September 12, 2014. Beloved wife for 22 years of Brian Malik; proud and loving mother of Halina, Emily, and David Malik; loving sister of Nina, Jania, and Krysia; daughter of the late Bogdan and Lottie Sokolowski; special daughter-in-law of Richard and Joanne Malik; also survived by many nieces, nephews, loving family and friends. Michele was a loving mother and devoted wife. She lived each day fully and left her smile with each person she met. Michele fought a rare illness that required daily strength to endure the many seizures, surgeries, medications, pin pricks, diagnoses, and uncertainty of her journey. She faced each of these tirelessly and with the grace that only God could have given her. She will be missed by all. Family and friends received on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Hwy., North Hills. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. John Neumann Church.
