With our heavy hearts we sadly announce the passing of Michael William Tschannen (Mike), Age 74, of Ross Twp. on August 7, 2026.

He was the beloved husband of Sandy Tschannen; a devoted father to Jeanine (Michael) Swanson, Natalie (Nick) Pusateri, Michael (Holly) Tschannen, and the late Traci (Randy) Fritz; and a doting grandfather to Luke, Jake, Leo, Owen, Harper, Lena, and Maddox.

Born and raised by his parents alongside his sisters Kassie, Sharon, Marlene, and Roberta, Mike’s family was his entire world — but Sandy was his everything.

He was the sweetest, most caring man, and he will be missed by many. He had a love for all his friends, who adored him beyond measure.

Mike retired at the age of 58 from the Laborers Union and truly lived life to the fullest. He had many hobbies from his early days: hunting, riding motorcycles, traveling, boating with his favorite people, and being the best Pappy.

Mike was a Pittsburgh man through and through. He enjoyed a good Steelers game and any reason to throw a party and crack open a Miller Lite. He had a personality, a smile, and a heart of gold.

He will never be forgotten. The impact he had on all of us will live on, and he has left a place in everyone’s heart.
