Dear Malone family, I was so saddened to learn of Mike’s passing yesterday. A life-long class act taken far too soon. Mike will always be among my favorite memories from my AMS days and you all will be in my thoughts and prayers.

The tide recedes, but leaves behind
    Bright seashells on the sand.
The sun goes down, but gentle warmth
    Still lingers on the land.
The music stops — and yet
It echoes on in sweet refrain.
    For every joy that passes,
    Something beautiful remains.

May God comfort you in this time of loss. May he give you strength to lean upon Him and assure you that you are not alone in your time of grief.
I am blessed to have had the pleasure of meeting Mike. I know many, many people have expressed to you that he is a great guy and a wonderful person. We shared a common interest in reading and would always ask each other what the other was reading. He was very kind in offering to help my son with some connections for internships with his major, i really appreciated that he even took an interests. He will be greatly missed.

May your memories and the comfort of God give you peace. 1 Corinthians 1:2-4

It was with great shock and sadness that I learned of Mike’s passing. We worked together many times over the years and I always found him to be the perfect gentleman and consummate professional. He truly was a “people person” and was just an easy guy to like. Mike was obviously very proud of his family and he spoke of them often. My sincerest sympathies to all on your tremendous loss. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.
