I am saddened to hear of the passing of the woman who kept me on the straight path at Marian Hall. If I needed to hash something out…she listened and gave great advice. Rest in peace dear sweet lady. Love always Carolyn Klingensmith.

Mary Ellen was a beautiful person, inside and out. She was blessed with many wonderful gifts…one of them being that, truly, she was a Light that people gravitated to…She took the time to talk with anyone; and in those moments, the world stopped–she made you feel special. She made you feel at home. I so wish the world could stop now, if for a moment, to honor the beautiful Light that she was, because nothing gold can stay.

To all of Mary Ellen’s family: May God comfort you, guide and protect you, always in all ways. And to Amy, her wonderful daughter, in the moments of stillness and quiet, may the warm memories of your mother and father comfort you. They were the salt of the earth.

    I will miss them.

    With deepest sympathy,
    Amanda, Jasmine, and Lenore
