Mary Lou (Miller) Walter, 81, formerly of McCandless, died Friday, May 21, 2010, at her son’s home in Georgetown, Ky. Mary Lou was born in Somerset County and lived most of her life in McCandless Township. Wife of the late Herbert F. Walter; loving mother of Herbert Walter, of Tulsa, Okla., and Ronald Walter, of Georgetown, Ky.; sister of Beulah Ogilvie, of Sandstone. Minn., and the late Twyla Wagner and Ira Miller; also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, North Hills. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Teresa of Avila Church. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Mt. Troy Road. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Hospice of Bluegrass, 1317 U.S. Highway, 62 East, Cynthiana, KY 41031.
