Surrounded by her family, Jane Benton passed from this earth peacefully on Sunday, April 13, 2014. Jane, age 73, was born in Johnstown, PA to Clark and Mary Wilson. She is an alumna of Johnstown High School and upon graduation moved to Washington, D.C. to work for the Department of Agriculture. In D.C. she met her husband of 49 years, James Benton. Over the course of their marriage they welcomed three children:Cathi, Deborah, and James. While raising her children, Jane worked as a public relations manager at H&R block, and later retail manager for McDarlin’s Calligraphy.
