Mary E. “Bette” (Miller) Bendzick, 90, of Ross Township, died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008. Beloved wife of 65 years of Marvin F. Bendzick; loving mother of John H. (Charlene), William W., Diane M. Huebener (Hal), Martha L. Diamond (Lawrence) and Julie M. Bendzick-Sin (Phillip); sister of Harry Miller, of Michigan, and Susan Cooper, of North Carolina; also survived by 11 grandchildren and one great-grandson. Bette was educated by the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Flint, Mich. Bette devoted her entire life to business and was an active artist, spending many years giving artistic and antique evaluations. Visitation from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Hwy., North Hills. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Sebastian Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Sebastian Music Ministry.

We are so sorry for your loss. Uncle Marvin kept me informed over all of the years of Aunt Bette’s valente fight, with the successes and setbacks. I know Aunt Bette is now in a better place, waiting for us. God Bless all of you.
