Age 83, of Allison Park, passed away peacefully at her home on June 18, 2013. She was the beloved daughter of the late Richard and Mary Hampel; She was the loving wife for sixty one years of Robert Brodine; the loving mother of Donald Brodine (Deborah), Diane Owen, and the late Richard and Gary Brodine; the grandmother of Allison Brodine, Devon Brodine, Regan Brodine, Taryn Brodine, Peter Owen, Micah Owen, and Faith Owen; sister of Grace Solt. Mary Ann grew up in Bellevue where she attended Assumption School. She was a graduate of St. Benedicts Academy and Seton Hill College where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1951. Mary Ann lived in various places over the course of her life, from Venezuela, to the Rocky Mountains, to Florida. A favorite activity included scouring the beach for seashells with her grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Christ our Redeemer Cemetery Chapel on Monday at 11AM.
