Of McCandless Twp., on Monday, March 21, 2022. Born September 26, 1932 in Pittsburgh, PA. Son of the late Martin J. and Ellen Marie (Alexander) Newell, Sr. Husband of the late Thelma “Pidge” (Nestler) Newell. Loving father of Michael J. Newell, Timothy M. Newell (Maureen and her children, Megan and Audrey) and Daniel J. Newell. Brother of the late Rita Maletic. Marty attended St. Peter’s Church and graduated from North Catholic, class of 1950. Marty worked for over 30 years for the Asbestos Workers Local #2, retiring in 1990. Friends received Thursday, 2-4 and 6-8, at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 806 Perry Hwy., North Hills, where a Blessing Service will be held Friday at 10:30 am.
