Age 58, of Ross Twp., formerly of Rhinebeck, NY, on Tuesday, May 21, 2013. Mark was the first child of Joseph A. and the late Clara J. LaRocca; brother of Michael LaRocca (Marilyn) and Maria Gillete (Joseph); loving uncle of Nicholas and Benjamin Gillette, Kristina, Joel, and Kiara LaRocca. Mark was graduate of North Hills High School, 1972 and Indiana University of Pennsylvania, 1976. He was the founder of LaRocca Branding & Advertising, Inc. in Rhinebeck, NY. Mark faithfully spent time being nourished by God’s Word. He was also an outdoor enthusiast who enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and hiking. Friends will be received Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Hwy., Ross Twp. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Sebastian Church on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society .

For some reason I Googled Mark’s name today and learned of this. I am so sad. He was a great guy and a good friend with whom I have been out of touch. We worked together on several projects and he even moved out to Boulder for a while. He will be missed. My condolences, Davis Templeton
Mark and I were friends during our years at IUP. We met in Kittanning and were housemates in Indiana. We’d not been in touch much for many years, but I spoke with him a few months ago. I’m so sorry for your loss.
While I had not stayed in direct contact with Mark, I kept up with him through friends. I am so saddened to learn he is gone. Such a man of God…he will be missed.
