Mario F. Balestrieri, 84, of Ross Township, formerly of the North Side, went to be with Our Lord Friday, May 21, 2010. Beloved husband of Catherine F. (Dentici) Balestrieri; father of Frank T. (Suanne) Balestrieri, Mary C. (James) Verotz, Rosalia A. Balestrieri and Christina M. (Gregory) Balestrieri; brother of Dorothy Camarda, Grace Spagnolo, Thomas (Anna) Balestrieri and the late Antoinette Machi and Rose Balestrieri; brother-in-law of Petrina Zaffora, Anne (Ross) Ficarri, Antoinette (Richard) Matessa and the late Thomas Dentici; proud grandfather of Jenna (Craig) Schenker and Allison Vergotz; also survived many nieces and nephews. Mario was an active member of Incarnation Church, a 60-year member of the ISDA and a hard-working produce man all of his life. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the T. B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, North Hills. Mass of Christian Burial at noon Tuesday in Incarnation of the Lord Church.
