On Wednesday, January 26, 2011, at age 78, of Cranberry Township. Marilyn was the daughter of the late Harold and Mary (Hofstetter) Williams; the beloved wife for 35 years to the late Douglas A. Matson; sister of Roger Williams (Erie, PA); adored mother of Gary Matson (Lisa), Wexford, PA, Dale Matson (Darcy), Brunswick OH, and Craig Matson (Cindy), Gilbert, AZ. She was the proud and loving grandmother of David, Douglas, Jenna, David, Michael, Brett, Melissa, Michelle and Devon Matson; long time friend of the late Dominic Sementilli. She will be remembered fondly and dearly missed by many cousins and friends. Marilyn was born in Corry, PA and graduated from Strong Vincent High School in Erie, PA. She spent many happy years in Erie, PA, South Holland, IL and Upper St. Clair, PA. Marilyn enjoyed her 15 year career as a Teacher Aide at Boyce Middle School in Upper St. Clair. She loved the Lord, her family, photography and her beloved cottage in Findley Lake, NY. Friends will be received on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 2 until time of service at 6 at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry, PA 16066.
