Margaret “Peg” (Brown) Rooney, of Ohio Township, died Monday, Dec. 6, 2010. She was the wife of the late H. Ober Rooney; loving mother of Judy Joyce (Jim), Susan Fleming (Dennis), Edward (Judi), James, Patrick (Jenny), Beth, Pamela Priestley (Dave), Richard (Patti) and the late David and Jerry (surviving wife, June); sister of the late Mary Louise Brown and Joseph Brown; sister-in-law of Sister Ignatius Rooney; also survived by 19 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Hwy., North Hills. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary’s Church, Glenfield. Peg was a devoted 50 year member of St. Mary’s Church.
