Margaret Hollo

June 06, 1918 - December 28, 2001


Age 83, of McCandless Twp. Formerly of Brighton Hts. Died on Fri 12-28-01 at UPMC Passavant Hospital. She was born 6-6-18 daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Kiss Hollo. Margaret was an employee of Gimbels Dept. Store, retiring after 40 years of service as an assistant buyer. Member of St. Alexis Parish, and formerly of St. Gabriel (Risen Lord) Parish. Dedicated volunteer for over 20 years with Catholic War Veterans Auxiliary, for which she recieved the St. Agnes Medal of Service, the highest honor of this service organization; Highland Veterans Hospital; Kane Regional Center (Ross Twp); Rainbow Soup Kitchen; and the Ladies Guild of St. Gabriel Parish; also many other charitable endeavore known only to Margaret.
Survived by 3 sisters, Rose Mueller of Ross Twp., Mary Cuhay of Pueblo,Colorado, and Zelda Colazzi of Bethal Park. Also survived by 13 nieces and nephews, and many beloved great nieces and nephews who will live her legacy to this world. Preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Hollo of West Deer Two. Nen was welcomed into heaven’s arms where she continues to watch over us as she did so selflessly while here on earth.

Visitation Sunday 2-4 & 7-9PM. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Alexis Church, Wexford, Monday time later. Burial will follow in North Side Catholic Cemetery, Ross Twp.
